Warranty Overview
At ROeMart, we stand behind the quality of the products we sell. All products carry manufacturer warranties as specified on individual product pages. This warranty policy outlines the terms and conditions for warranty claims.
Manufacturer's Warranty
- Warranty on products is as per manufacturer's standard warranty terms
- Warranty period varies by product type and brand (typically 6 months to 2 years)
- Exact warranty details are mentioned on each product page
- Original invoice is required for all warranty claims
- Warranty is valid only for products purchased directly from ROeMart
Consumables & Filter Media
Membranes, cartridges and other filtration media are classified as consumables:
- Limited warranty for manufacturing defects only
- Does NOT cover performance degradation over time
- No warranty on opened or used filter cartridges
- RO membranes carry limited warranty (typically 6 months for manufacturing defects)
- Performance warranty does not apply as output depends on input water quality
What is Covered Under Warranty
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
- Product failure during normal use within warranty period
- Defects that existed at the time of manufacture
- Replacement or repair (at manufacturer's discretion)
What is NOT Covered Under Warranty
- Misapplication or incorrect product selection
- Incorrect installation or improper use
- Water conditions beyond design parameters (high TDS, temperature, pressure, etc.)
- Physical damage, tampering, or modifications
- Damage due to power surges, voltage fluctuations, or electrical issues
- Normal wear and tear
- Consumable parts like O-rings, gaskets, seals (unless part of a larger assembly)
- Damage caused by external factors (accidents, mishandling, natural disasters)
- Products used in commercial/industrial applications beyond their rated capacity
- Installation charges, transportation costs, or service call fees
How to Claim Warranty
To initiate a warranty claim:
- Contact ROeMart customer support via email or phone
- Provide order number, invoice copy, and product details
- Describe the issue with supporting photos/videos
- Our technical team will review and provide guidance
- If approved, replacement will be arranged or repair instructions provided
- Return shipping charges may apply (as per manufacturer policy)
Technical / Industrial Products
- Many products are technical/industrial in nature (high pressure, electrical, chemical)
- Customer is responsible for correct selection, installation, and operation
- Professional installation is recommended for electrical and high-pressure components
- Warranty does not cover damage from operating outside recommended parameters
- Pre-installation water testing is advised for membrane and filtration systems
Important Notes
- Always refer to individual product page and brand documentation for exact warranty coverage
- Warranty is non-transferable
- ROeMart acts as a facilitator for manufacturer warranty claims
- Final warranty decisions rest with the respective brand/manufacturer
- Keep your original invoice and product packaging for warranty claims
- Register your product with the manufacturer (if applicable) for faster warranty service
Warranty Exclusions
The following are explicitly excluded from warranty coverage:
- Damage during transit after delivery is confirmed
- Products installed or used in ways not recommended by the manufacturer
- Exposure to corrosive chemicals beyond product specifications
- Use with incompatible components or systems
- Failure to follow manufacturer's maintenance guidelines
